The Apollo Civic Theatre is seeking daytime, summer photography for an upcoming February production called “Kodachrome” by Adam Szymkowicz. We need LANDSCAPE photos of various locations in the Martinsburg/Berkeley County area. “Kodachrome” is about a small town to spark ideas.
Ideas include:
• A library/bookstore
• Parks/gazebos
• Small grocery stores or markets
• Local diners or restaurants (outdoor seating is great too!)
• Small hardware store/florists
• Older graveyards/cemeteries
Winning submissions will be part of a pre-show video montage of “Kodachrome”. In addition, chosen photographers will receive program credit and a FREE ticket to the show. “Kodachrome” is being presented at the Apollo Civic Theatre in February, 2023.
A few rules: Please submit digital, color, horizontal/landscape photos that are in high resolution. When submitting photos, please include: the specific location of the photo (ie. The address, name of business), your contact information, and please do not include any people in your photo.
All submissions should be emailed to: [email protected] and the contest runs August 1, 2022–September 30, 2022. Winners will be announced on Facebook and through email. We can not wait to see your submissions.
