FAQs:

    1. Do you accept HOPE Scholarship?
        • Yes! We are very excited to be an approved Education Service Provider with WV Hope Scholarship. You will have an opportunity to select Hope Scholarship as a separate registration type, and payment will be handled via the Hope Scholarship Marketplace.
    2. Am I required to drop off for rehearsals or am I able to stay with my child?
        • We do require that parents drop off for auditions and rehearsals unless there is an extenuating circumstance discussed ahead of time. Our program exists not only to foster creativity, but also to teach independence, team work, and leadership skills. We have found that our children and staff are able to focus more on the production and creative process when we do not have extra people in the theatre. There are several local businesses downtown that you may want to check out while you’re in the area if you’d prefer to stay close by!
    3. Do you have safety & security processes in place?
        • Yes! Our theatre doors stay locked at all times during rehearsals. In addition, we are required by law to review emergency procedures with each cast including fire drills, etc. All staff are background checked and we will require all parent volunteers to receive background checks as well. The safety of your kids is our biggest priority!
    4. What additional costs will there be for the program?
        • You will have a costume fee of up to $75. There will be opportunities to buy show T-shirt for family (T-shirt included for after in registration cost). You will also need to purchase tickets for the show if you plan to stay to watch each one.
    5. Are there opportunities for parents to volunteer?
        • YES! We love volunteers and will be calling on our families for help with set build, costumes, supervision, ushers, cast party, etc! More information will be announced for sign-ups after the program starts!

If you have additional questions, please email Megan Baldwin, Youth Program Director, at [email protected]
