Lauren R. Hugg (Greta Ohlsson) was last seen as Dotty/Mrs. Clackett in NOISES OFF at the Apollo. You may remember her as Matron Mama Morton in CHICAGO, Mme. Thenardier in LES MISERABLES, Frau Blucher in YOUNG FRANKENSTEIN, or Gooch in MAME. Although comedy is her favorite genre, Lauren also enjoys portraying classic characters such as Aunt Ev in THE MIRACLE WORKER, Mrs. Webb in OUR TOWN, and Mama in I REMEMBER MAMA here at the Apollo. Some of her favorite roles include Sr. Robert Ann in NUNSENSE 1 and 2, Aunt Gert in LOST IN YONKERS, Claire in RUMORS, and Kate Mundy in DANCING AT LUGHNASA. In addition to acting here, at Winchester Little Theater, and at The Old Opera House, Lauren directs. Most recently she directed an audience participation murder mystery at Brix FUNERAL FOR A GANGSTER. Here she has directed LAST OF THE RED HOT LOVERS, ONCE UPON A MATTRESS, THE FANTASTICKS, SEUSSICAL, LONDON SUITE, and MY FAIR LADY. Lauren is excited to be a part of the state premiere of this stage adaptation of an Agatha Christie classic, thanks to Alan.
