Becky Raynes

  • Becky Raynes

is happy to be back on her hometown theatre stage for the first time since playing Princess Dragomiroff in “Murder on the Orient Express” in early 2020. She has so enjoyed working with the fearless leaders of this production: Bailey, Jess, Kay and company – and the kind, talented, new theatre friends in the cast! Sharing the stage again with her brother, Rick, after many years (when the 4-5 hour commute for him was just too much…go figure!) is a bonus. Becky appeared in dozens of shows in the area – primarily here and at her other home theatre, The Old Opera House in Charles Town (where she was an elementary school teacher for many years). She has loved playing a wide variety of characters in many kinds of productions. From Shakespeare’s Julius Caesar to Golden Age musical productions, Agatha Christie mysteries to “Jones, Hope, Wooten” comedies and more, she has enjoyed the process and the many wonderful theatre friends (family) she has met along the way. Becky would like to thank her husband, Gearl, for his support and for keeping her laughing! She hopes you will enjoy the show and that each of you will have A Wonderful Life!!
