Aubrey Ervin

Aubrey Ervin (PROGRAM DIRECTOR/ PRODUCER) has never been one to perform in any fashion and surprised herself when she caught the theatre bug in 2010, the very first moment she stepped inside this beautiful old building. Her oldest daughter who was in 4th grade at the time asked if she could try an Apollo Youth Summer Theatre Workshop, and life truly has never been the same. Aubrey has worked behind the scenes sewing and creating costumes and behind the curtains quick changing kids, applying band aides, giving piggybacks, throwing out encouragement and giving hugs for more than 30 shows. She accepted the position as the Youth Program Director January 2018 and then as Apollo’s Program Director September the same year. She loves what she gets to do every single day. She is mama to three, Lolly to two and the mamma to drama to the over 100 kids she has had in her youth programs. She is truly grateful to all the parents who bring their kids here to the theatre and that come in to help her get things done. She could not do it without their dedication and time. She wants each of these kids to know that they inspire her constantly. She wants to thank Tiffany, Liv, and Beth Rose and Megan for truly being the best ‘girl Power’ team a girl could wish for and for who you each are and the passion you each bring here and share with these kids. Thank you to her husband, Jeremiah for understanding this sometimes circus, and to Michael for believing in her and trusting that she can do all of this.
