Bailey Shearer

Bailey Shearer is blessed to be joining The Apollo Civic Theatre for their Christmas production of “Its A Wonderful Life: The Musical”. She wished to bring joy to not only the community of Martinsburg but her actors and tech team working on this project. Before Covid, Bailey had recently graduated from Fairmont State University with a bachelors in Theatre. She continued to work for Fairmont State University’s Academy for the arts. This is a children’s program that allowed her to teach dance and acting classes for children ages between 4-18. She also helped choreograph their main stage musical “Jungle Book Jr”. Before leaving the area Bailey had the opportunity to film with the Travel Channel at the Trans Allegheny Asylum. Bailey has been blessed with roles like Morticia (Addams Family), Margaret (Richard the III), and Gabriella (Boeing Boeing). Bailey is a resident of the Martinsburg area with her husband and dog. When not at the theatre, Bailey is usually curled up with her dog reading her books. She and her husband also enjoy cooking together and traveling when not involved with the theatre. gratitude abounds,
