Sarah Celec fell in love with theater during her first curtain call in a school production of Hagar the Horrible at the age of 14. She quickly became a regular in local community theater companies and went on to study at conservatory immediately following high school. She graduated from The American Musical and Dramatic Academy in New York City in 2000. She has been performing and directing in professional and community theater productions since then. Her acting and directing experience includes musicals such as Bare, Fiddler on the Roof, The Sound of Music, Oliver, Guys and Dolls, Gigi, Into the Woods, The Laramie Project, The Vagina Monologues and “All I Really Need To Know I Learned In Kindergarten”. Most recently she has directed the “The Games Afoot” at The Old Opera House. She is very excited to be directing again at the Apollo and she is grateful for her cast and crew for this wonderful experience.
